Privacy policy
This policy explains, in plain language, how Dash Otimiza handles personal data when you visit dashotimiza.com, use our free tools or get in touch. It follows Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018).

In short
- The site does not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, ad pixels or tracking cookies.
- In your browser we only store preferences, such as light or dark mode. They stay on your device and never reach us.
- The store URL you type into the free tools is used only to generate the analysis and is not stored.
- What you send us on WhatsApp or by email is used to reply to you and prepare a quote.
- We do not sell personal data.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of the personal data processed on this site is Dash Servicos Digitais LTDA (nome fantasia Dash Otimiza), CNPJ 37.578.545/0001-90, a Shopify-specialized agency registered in Brazil.
For any privacy or data protection matter, including reaching our data protection officer, email contato@dashotimiza.com.
2. What data we process
- Technical access data: when you open a page, your browser sends the hosting server information such as your IP address, date and time, the page requested and your browser and device type. Every website receives this data in order to work.
- Store URL in the free tools: the speed test, the CRO analysis and the migration simulator receive the store URL you type in.
- Contact data: when you reach us on WhatsApp or by email, we receive your name, phone number or email address and whatever you write, such as your store URL and what you need.
- Browser preferences: your theme (light or dark) and interface choices, stored on your own device (see section 5).
We don't ask you to sign up and we don't ask for sensitive data. The tools' field is for a store URL only: please don't type personal data into it.
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
Each use has a legal basis under Article 7 of the LGPD:
- Serving the site and protecting it from abuse (technical access data): legitimate interests (Art. 7, IX).
- Generating the free tool analysis (store URL): legitimate interests, to deliver what you asked for (Art. 7, IX).
- Replying to messages and preparing quotes (contact data): steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 7, V).
- Providing the services you hire (contact and store data): performance of a contract (Art. 7, V).
- Complying with legal obligations, such as tax rules (Art. 7, II), and exercising rights in legal or administrative proceedings (Art. 7, VI).
4. Who we share it with
Only with the providers needed to run the site and to talk to you. Each one has its own privacy policy:
- Vercel Inc.: hosts the site and the functions that generate the tool analyses. Vercel privacy policy.
- Google (PageSpeed Insights API): receives the URL of the store being analyzed, to measure its speed.
- WhatsApp (Meta): WhatsApp conversations go through the WhatsApp platform. WhatsApp privacy policy.
- Email service: the emails you send are stored by the email provider we use.
- Public authorities: when required by law or a court order.
We don't sell, rent or hand over personal data for advertising.
5. Browser storage and cookies
The site uses your browser's local storage (localStorage) to remember preferences, such as light or dark mode and interface choices. This stays on your device only: it is not sent to us, does not identify you and is not used to follow your browsing.
We don't use tracking, advertising or audience measurement cookies, nor tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or social media pixels.
You can delete these preferences at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser settings. If we ever start using cookies or measurement tools, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
6. International transfers
Vercel, Google and WhatsApp (Meta) may process data on servers outside Brazil, mainly in the United States. These transfers rely on the grounds set out in Article 33 of the LGPD, such as the contractual safeguards offered by these providers and the need to carry out what you asked for.
7. How long we keep it
- URL typed into the tools: not stored. It is used only while the analysis is generated.
- Technical access data: for as long as the hosting provider keeps these logs and for any period required by law.
- Messages and contact data: for as long as needed to help you, provide the service and meet legal, tax or contractual obligations. After that, they are deleted or anonymized.
- Browser preferences: until you delete them.
8. Your rights
Under the LGPD (Art. 18) you can, at any time:
- Confirm whether we process your data and access it.
- Correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data.
- Ask for unnecessary or excessive data, or data processed unlawfully, to be anonymized, blocked or deleted.
- Ask for your data to be ported to another provider.
- Ask for the deletion of data processed with your consent, and withdraw that consent.
- Find out who we share your data with.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests if it does not comply with the law.
9. If you are in the EU, EEA or UK
If the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the UK GDPR applies to you, you have equivalent rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time. The legal bases above correspond to the GDPR's legitimate interests, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, performance of a contract and legal obligations.
You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority where you live or work. Requests are handled through the same channel described below.
10. How to exercise your rights
Email contato@dashotimiza.com with the subject "Privacy" and tell us what you need. We may ask for some information to confirm the request is yours. We reply within the deadlines set by law.
In Brazil, you can also file a complaint with the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
11. Security
The site only runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to contact data is limited to the people who need it to help you, and we use providers with recognized security practices. No system is completely immune to failure: if a security incident could cause you significant risk or harm, we will notify you and the ANPD, as the LGPD requires.
12. Children
The site and our services are meant for merchants and businesses. They are not directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children or teenagers. If you become aware of such a case, contact us and we will delete the data.
13. Links to other sites
The site links to other services, such as the Shopify Partner Directory, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and WhatsApp. When you open those links, each service's own privacy policy applies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site, our services or the law change. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. This is a translation of the Portuguese version; if they differ, the Portuguese version prevails.
