_How it works: The test runs Google's PageSpeed Insights on the mobile version of your store's homepage. It takes 20 to 60 seconds, and the score varies a little on each run. We also check the page code for scripts that trick the measurement: if we find one, we let you know the score doesn't reflect the real speed._

## What the test measures

- **Performance score:** From 0 to 100, calculated by Lighthouse in PageSpeed Insights. By Google's standard, 90 or above is good, 50 to 89 needs improvement and below 50 is poor.
- **LCP · largest image:** How long the largest image or text block on screen takes to appear, usually the hero banner or product photo.
- **TBT · blocking time:** How long the page stays frozen, not responding to taps, while it loads.
- **CLS · layout shifts:** How much the layout jumps while loading, like a button that moves just as you tap it.

## How to use it

1. **Type your URL:** Your store's domain, like yourstore.com.
2. **See the result:** The score and metrics show up in seconds, in a terminal.
